About me

I’m a stay at home mum with three young children, a lovely hubby, an old dog and five chickens. We currently live in rural Canterbury, in the South Island of New Zealand, but we are originally city folk born and bred. We moved here three years ago to “escape the rat race” and live life in the slow lane. Gone are the hours wasted in traffic jams and the stressful jobs! As a family we are embarking on a journey of learning to enjoy the simple life and become more self-sufficent.
